Cost / Reimbursements

Generally, each party bears their own costs of conciliation. However, the WorkSafe Agent or Self-Insurer is liable to pay your reasonable  transport expenses to and from the conciliation conference and  reimburse you for any loss of income incurred by attending the conciliation conference. You will be provided with a form at the  conclusion of the conference that can be used to claim these costs.

You will need to forward the completed form to the VWA Agent or Self-Insurer.

Costs that can be claimed are as follows:

          Transport expenses:          $60 (1 July 2016 to 30 June 2017)

                                                     $61 (1 July 2017 to 30 June 2018)

          Loss of income:                  $411 (1 July 2016 to 30 June 2017)

                                                     $417 (1 July 2017 to 30 June 2018)
