Agent / Self Insurer
VWA Agents and Self Insurers are required to come to the Conciliation Conference. As the face of the decision maker you must be able to explain the decision that has been made and what information or material was considered in making that decision.
You must also be prepared to listen to other points of view on the matter, take into account material provided by the worker, and be able to look at the decision with "fresh eyes". You should also be prepared to consider a range of options to resolve the matter and be conciliatory.
