What happens next

The ACCS sends a letter to all parties involved advising that the request for Conciliation has been received. Shortly after this letter is sent, the dispute is allocated to a Conciliation Officer, and a conference is arranged.

The ACCS schedules the Conciliation conference as soon as practicable. In some cases the Conciliation Officer can resolve the dispute by telephone, or electronic communication such as email and the conference does not need to be held.
